HOLIDAY WISH

For more than 60 years, supportive community members have granted the wishes of children through the Holiday Wish program at Franklin County Children Services. Because of your support, these children will receive more than gifts, they’ll have an experience with their families that they will never forget. Help us provide gifts for thousands of youths served by the agency and put the magic back in the holidays for our families.

Here is how you can help:

This program allows individuals or organizations to sponsor children ages 10 and younger, who select their own special gift(s) up to $50 per child. Sponsors then go out and purchase that special gift and help add some Holiday magic into the lives of the children we serve. Sign up here.

 In addition to offering opportunities for the community to donate, this year we’re excited to provide volunteer opportunities for both individuals and organizations to get involved! Click here to learn more and sign up.  

Our Children's Fund is comprised of several unique funds that help thousands of children receive birthday and holiday gifts, attend summer camps, participate in sports, pay for college, and so much more. To donate online and select which fund you’d like to contribute you click here.

This year, donors have the chance to help create a unique holiday shopping experience for families. If a child aged 0-10 doesn’t provide a wish list, their family will be invited to visit our Holiday Wish workshop and shop for their perfect gifts among donations. You can help by donating ANY new toy. (Please refer to our Amazon Gift List for our most requested gifts.)

You can also shop our Amazon Gift List and have your donation sent directly to our workshop. If you choose this option, please provide your contact information within the Gift List so that we can send you a thank you note. 

Drop off your donations at our workshop. Holiday Wish is open for donations Monday, October 7- Friday, December 20.

· Monday through Friday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
(Closed Nov. 28-29; closes at noon on Dec. 20; and closed Dec. 20-26) 

· Saturdays, Dec. 7th & Dec. 14: 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM 

· Wednesday, Dec. 4:8:00 AM - 7:00 PM 

· Sundays, Dec. 1 & Dec. 8th 12:00 PM - 3:00 PM

Your business or organization can hold a toy drive this season and help us bring joy to children in our care or custody.

Click here to sign up to host a toy drive October 11 through November 18! Toy Drives are eligible for Holiday Wish Posters and gift tags for trees! Pick up is also available for eligible Toy Drives, otherwise all items must be delivered to our 855 W. Mound Street location by December 20.
